Kwami Ossadzifo Wonyra (PhD)

Dr. Wonyra is a Research Fellow at ACINTaD, specializing in International Economics. He is a lecturer and researcher at the University of Kara, Togo, where he teaches International Trade, Trade Policy Practice, Trade Negotiations and Applied Econometrics.

Dr. Wonyra is a Research Fellow at ACINTaD, specializing in International Economics. He is a lecturer and researcher at the University of Kara, Togo, where he teaches International Trade, Trade Policy Practice, Trade Negotiations and Applied Econometrics. His research spans trade liberalisation in the service sector, the effects of regional trade agreements (including impact evaluation of trade policies implemented in developing countries), non-tariff barriers, and macroeconomics policies. Prior to joining the University of Kara, Kwami worked as Program Manager at Togo’s Ministry of Social Action, Togo, where he coordinated programs and projects aimed at empowering the vulnerable. He provides consultancy services regularly, and in 2019 was commissioned by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) to draft the national strategy for the implementation of AfCFTA in Togo. He obtained his PhD & Master’s degree in International Economics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Lome, Togo; Postgraduate Diploma in Trade Policy and Trade Law from the Trade Policy Training Center in Africa (TRAPCA) and LUND UNIVERSITY, Sweden. He equally has UNCTAD Certificates in Trade and Poverty, Trade and Gender, Non-Tariff Measures, and Structural Transformation and Industrial Policies.

Dr. Danladi is a Research Fellow at ACINTaD and a multi-award winning researcher and Lecturer in the Department of History and International Studies
